A New Standard in Guest Experience
In the hospitality industry, comfort is more than a luxury—it’s an expectation. Climate control plays a vital role in guest satisfaction, but not all smart thermostats are created equal. While motion-based thermostats from other providers rely on limited detection methods, Anacove sets a new standard with precision, adaptability, and uninterrupted comfort.
Beyond Motion Detection: Smarter Sensing for Smarter Comfort
Traditional occupancy detection methods—such as motion or body-heat sensors—struggle with reliability. Placement limitations often lead to inconsistent and inaccurate results. Guests reading quietly, sleeping, or leaving pets in the room may be mistakenly flagged as absent, resulting in HVAC systems shutting down and creating discomfort.
Anacove solves this problem with a multi-sensor, AI-powered system that adapts to any guest room, regardless of its size or layout. Instead of depending on a single motion trigger, Anacove combines multiple sensing methods, cloud-based intelligence, and real-time environmental data to deliver consistent, accurate climate control.
Advanced Multi-Sensor Technology
Anacove’s approach integrates a range of sensors within each room to create a more reliable picture of occupancy and comfort:
- Light Sensors & Thermostat Keypresses – Detect guest interactions and subtle environmental changes.
- Pressure Sensors – Monitor rapid changes from door and window movements, offering strong signals of entry and exit.
- Rental Status Integration – Ensures occupancy detection aligns with booking and property management data.
- TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) Sensors – Track human-emitted VOCs (from breath and skin) to measure both indoor air quality and occupancy.
Together, these sensors ensure accuracy even when guests are asleep, sitting still, or accompanied by pets.
Smarter Occupancy Determination with AI
At the heart of Anacove’s solution is a cloud-based AI engine that processes sensor data to deliver precise occupancy detection. Unlike motion-based systems that prematurely mark rooms as vacant, Anacove ensures occupancy status cannot shift to "unoccupied" overnight unless explicitly instructed by the property management system. This safeguards guest comfort during the most sensitive times of their stay—sleep.
Enhancing Indoor Air Quality Monitoring
Beyond occupancy, Anacove’s system continuously monitors humidity, temperature, and VOC levels, giving hotels valuable insights into indoor air quality (IAQ). This proactive monitoring helps properties maintain healthy environments, reduce complaints, and enhance overall guest wellbeing.
Why Hotels Choose Anacove
Hotels that choose Anacove aren’t just investing in a thermostat—they’re investing in reliability, operational efficiency, and a superior guest experience. By combining multi-sensor precision with AI intelligence, Anacove eliminates the frustrations caused by motion-only systems and ensures climate control adapts seamlessly to real guest behavior.
The result: fewer service calls, higher guest satisfaction, and smarter energy efficiency.
While most thermostats on the market continue to rely on limited detection, Anacove delivers a modern, future-ready solution that meets the evolving expectations of today’s travelers.
