San Diego, CA
Anacove, a San Diego-based hospitality technology company known for its AI-powered smart thermostats and IoT monitoring solutions, today announced the launch of its Common Area Thermostat, extending the same intelligent climate control hotels already rely on in guest rooms to meeting rooms, ballrooms, gyms, hallways, lobbies, and other shared spaces.
Since its founding, Anacove has focused on pairing best-in-class energy savings with best-in-class guest experience. The new Common Area Thermostat brings that same philosophy to the parts of a property guests move through before and after they ever reach their room. spaces that, until now, have largely sat outside the reach of guest-room-focused smart systems.
"Guest rooms were just the starting point," said [Executive Name/Title], Anacove. "[Optional supporting quote about why common areas matter to guest experience and property operations.]"
One System, Every Space
The Common Area Thermostat is designed to operate inside the same dashboard hotel staff already use to manage guest room climate control, so properties can extend coverage without adopting a new system or retraining staff. Key capabilities include:
-
Single-dashboard control across guest rooms and common areas alike
-
Remote-lockable units, allowing staff to secure and adjust thermostats without walking the property or managing physical lockboxes
-
Linked, multi-unit scheduling, so groups of thermostats, a ballroom ahead of an event, a gym during peak hours, can be managed together
-
Humidity monitoring, giving staff earlier visibility into conditions that could affect guest comfort or property maintenance
For properties managing large or multi-purpose spaces, the result is reach comparable to a full building management system, without the cost or construction typically associated with one.
Available Now
The Common Area Thermostat is available immediately to new and existing Anacove customers. Existing customers can add common area coverage to their current Anacove deployment without replacing existing infrastructure.
